[INTERLACE="<true | false>"] (true)

UsageThis tag turns the interlace bit on or off. If interlace is 1 the NAME image will be interlaced, and if interlace is 0 the interlace bit is turned off. Interlace is used to determine whether an image should be stored in a linear fashion, in which lines will appear on the display from first to last, or in an interlaced fashion, in which the image will "fade in" over several passes. By default, images are not interlaced. This has no meaning unless you save the image in GIF format; the gd and xbm formats do not support interlace.
